Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff landed the No. 33 spot on this year’s NFL Top 100 rankings, as voted on by the league’s active players.
Goff notched his third consecutive season with at least 4,500 passing yards in 2025, finishing second in the league with 4,564. The veteran signal caller completed 68% of his passes, recording 34 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Goff put up similar numbers in 2024, but the Lions notched a far-better regular-season record of 15-2. Last year, the Lions went 9-8.
Goff landed the No. 15 spot on last year’s NFL Top 100 list.
“QB1 checks in at no. 33 on the NFL Top 100,” the Lions wrote in response to this year’s ranking.
The Lions are entering the 2026 season with a new offensive coordinator: Drew Petzing. Goff recently said he’s open to the idea of playing in the preseason to dial in the team’s new system.
“I think I need whatever Dan [Campbell] thinks I need. I will play if they want us to play,” Goff said at training camp this week, via SI. “We have a new coordinator, there’s certainly an argument for it. If he doesn’t want to put anyone out there, there’s certainly an argument for that, too. Whatever Dan wants to do, we will follow suit and see where it goes.”
The Lions will begin their regular-season schedule with a Week 1 matchup against New Orleans Saints on Sept. 13.
